That’s a wrap 2018! ✌️My intention for 2019 is…

And that’s a wrap 2018.

Thank you for all the blessings, my husband, my son, my stepdaughters, my party of 5.
Tonight we went out for an early dinner to celebrate with baby boy. Our reservations were for 545pm. Yes, that is our life with a baby. Last year, I was pregnant at this time and was literally in bed by midnight. So this year I wanted to celebrate. Celebrate all of it. This is us. After dinner we went back home to continue organizing and cleaning. This is real life. As the clock hit 11:50 my husband got the TV set up for the count down, and I got the champagne glasses, the grapes, and Sebastian. Changed back to my dinner clothes to properly ring in the new year. 2019. Last year was pjs, not this year. I am welcoming 2019 with open arms:) My husband said it’s 11:58. I ran to the library to watch the ball drop and the countdown began. 3,2,1 Happy New Year! We kissed and I began to cry. Not like tears, but actually really cry. Once we stopped I looked at my husband and said 2018 was hard.

Yes, it was full of wonderful BLESSINGS. I married my person, I became a mom. My son is 💯 the best gift and blessing ever. AND all of these amazing life changes were also HARD. Understanding the grey. Perspective. Dialectical. We hugged. Kissed some more. And I said I’m excited to be me in 2019. Me. To delve deeper into my family. To be present. To slow down. Exhale. And then, if you know me, you know what I did next. Dance party!

Took my husband by the hand while he was holding Sebastian and we danced it up to “Electricity” by @dualipa Here’s to 2019 being a year where I slow down, focus on my family, my son, and surrender my plans to the universe, to God. In short, this year my intention is to slow down, be present, and more present.

So with that I wish you all a Happy Healthy New year full of blessings and love!
Enjoy your present, discover your magic, shine it, and share it!

Love, me, Nancy
